| The chevron pattern (left) was used in quite a few consoles and tombstone style radios (such as the 16B) of the mid 1930s as well as the famous Radiobars, which were mostly built using Philco chassis. It came in a few style and color variations. |

| Some consoles such as the 38-4 and 38-116 with a slant front (e.g. 'no stoop, no squint, no squat') used this more elegant version of the chevron pattern. | ||
